Oversize permits
We obtain every document the law requires. Quickly, without unnecessary paperwork on your side.
Civilian pilot vehicles
Pilots manage the traffic around the load and warn other road users about the oversize convoy.
Police escort
For the largest loads we arrange a police escort through sections that require it.
Loading and unloading
Safe loading at our hall, unloading at your plot, and setting the house down on piers or a foundation.
What the cost depends on
Distance
The further the delivery, the higher the cost — fuel, time and crew.
Size and weight
Larger and heavier units need a specialised trailer and additional securing.
Pilots and escort
The number of pilot vehicles, and any police escort, changes the price.
Obstacles on the route
Roadworks, rebuilt junctions and low bridges sometimes force a longer route.
Transport height and dimensions
On the trailer the total height reaches 4.60 m. Motorway bridges average 4.70–4.80 m (nominally 5 m, in practice often less).
Requires an alternative route and an individual quote. The tallest houses we have moved were close to 8 m.
Bridge works, roundabouts and roadworks can force a longer route, which shows up in the final price.
